The school was established in 1977. From a humble beginning of 15 students, now our school has more than 650 students on roll today; a benchmark of trust in the annals of imparting quality education. We have classes starting from KG to Std X including a play class for the little ones.
The school owns 3.27 acres of land (13233.2205 Sq. meters) comprising of the school buildings and a vast playground. The total built up area is 1564 Sq.meters. A wide area of 2000 Sq. meters has been kept for the playground for the students.
Our school is run by Lourdes Matha Educational and Charitable Society, which is a registered society under Travancore Cochin Charitable Societies Regn Act, 1955. The Registration is valid for a Permanent period.
The Lourdes Matha Educational and Charitable society is a group of dedicated volunteer members of the Lourdes Matha Public Church community. The Society executive members are responsible for the overall governance and strategic oversight of the school. Their combined talents are focused on mission achievement and the fiscal sustainability of the school. They work closely and in conjunction with the Manager Rev. Fr. Rinu Panachinkal

Regular parent - teacher meetings are conducted to understand the problems of the students in detail the open house system. The dates and times for the meeting will be intimated separately. All the parents are to attend the meetings in the best of their wards.onment.
The school have well furnished library and reading room. Pupils can borrow books from the library. They may read in the reading room and return the same after the library period. The student have to prepare library notes and submit the same to librarian every week. There are facilities for audio-visual education also.
